Little Woodworkers’ Adventure
Program Description
Even from a young age, children are fully capable of learning the respect for tools and materials (such as wood) and how we can safely construct objects. There are countless benefits from learning woodworking and learning how to handle tools safely and appropriately. It helps develop hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, problem solving, creative thinking, imagination, confidence, and self-esteem. It can also help relieve stress the children might be having.
In Little Woodworkers’ Adventure, a sophisticated carpenter and educator, Mr. Colin BEERE, will guide the children to design and build items of different sizes and purposes. Children will be working on projects to solve a real problem, or just for fun, by utilizing their newly acquired woodworking skills.
